Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek has been an American actress for over 20 years. She is best known for her character of Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 movie White Chicks Danielle Brooks of the USA Network series Covert Affairs as well as Dr. Amber Volakis of the Fox show House. Her most recognizable role is Tiffany Wilson, in the movie White Chicks. Her other roles include TV roles, including Dr. Amber Volakis from Fox's House; Danielle Brookson from USA Networks Covert Affairs and Lura in HBO Drama Big Love. Dudek is from Massachusetts and was a student at Northwestern University. Her first part as an actor was as a character in The Iphigenia Cycle, a show at the University. The show was a Broadway production that went off-Broadway and New York City where she received the Joseph E. Calloway award for her stunning performance and was featured as one of the top 10 young theatre actors to watch in American Theater Magazine. Dudek was offered roles on television and on the large screen. A mother of two on the screen, the gifted actress got married to Matthew Heller from 2008 to 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975. She was raised in Newton. Early in her life, Dudek studied at Northwestern University and appeared in several theater productions. The actress's Broadway debut was with Wrong Mountain on Broadway in 2000. Then, she was awarded the Connecticut Critics Circle Award in the recognition of her role in The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group in Britain was her first television appearance. Also, she has guest-starred on other television programs including Desperate, Housewives, How I Met Your Mother and Friends Charmed Bones. In the pilot of Psych she played Lucinda, as well as in Law & Order Criminal Intent a female teacher in a homosexual relationship with a male student. Dudek was first introduced to the role at House in its fourth year in the role of Amber Volakis. Amber is among the forty of Dr. Gregory House's forty candidates for a position as the permanent House team. The character of Amber Volakis was featured in the course of the entire series until it was finally killed off at the finale in House's Heart. In the following episode, she appeared in the season 5 episode Saviors from Season 5, as the character who was House's hallucination. The character continued to be seen as this for the rest of the series. Dudek was later seen on Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson and on Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives, both with regular characters. Dudek was a part of Covert Affairs as Danielle Brooks, the sister to the main character. Dudek was Tiffany Wilson, the cruise-line owner on White Chicks (2004 comedy) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
